Zombies everywhere!
I don’t know if I’ve said it before, but sometimes I really have a lot of fun acting. Over the past few weeks, I’ve really had the chance to do things I’ve wanted to do for a while thanks to playing the host of JC Sunshine’s Fireside Chat. I got to attack the Death Star in an x-wing and get beamed around for our sci-fi episode and last weekend I was part of a zombie movie which you can watch tonight
Back from Guelph

No, I didn’t find the time to report on our performance in/trip to Guelph, Ontario (see previous post) while I was there, so here’s a little recap: We arrived on Friday night and started off at The Albion Hotel, a pub/music venue that, I guess, used to be a hotel. The Albion was also the last place in Guelph we visited.

That’s right, in just a few hours, I’ll be heading out, along with the rest of the current cast of Sinking Neptune, to Guelph, Ontario to perform in the latest version of this verbatim theatre exposée of Eurocentric celebrations like the 400th anniversary (2006) of the supposed “first play” in North America, Marc Lescarbot’s Theatre of Neptune in New France which is racist against the First Nations.

Playing with a changing script

Other players affect any actor’s performance. When some of the players are playing by a different script, things get interesting. When their script can change at any moment, the outcome of the scene is anyone’s guess. On the morning we were set to culture-jam American Apparel, we didn’t have any clue how things would turn out.
